Sometimes, there are small little things which give you biggest of happiness. One of those things happened to me when I got to keep my friend's kitten for a weekend. The little thing doesn't even have a name yet, but he loves running and jumping around. Now, I am not much for a chaser, so I just let him play, but then he keeps coming back to get assurance that I'm still here, lick my fingers once or twice and run off again for chasing flies or playing with a paper ball. He'll follow me around trying to get on my legs when I go to take out his food, just like little kids, always hungry, always energetic. He even started sleeping on me when he wants warmth, he still hides in places and peeps through to see if I'm looking at him. We think that animals don't understand, but I wonder what if they do, maybe they do, more than we care to see. Whatever he understands or not, he just makes me happy with small licks and bites, unconditional love and staring from every corner of house, as if he's making sure I'm not going anywhere.
